  • Annoying dialogue

    I like this book, characters and ideas. However the dialogue is infuriating. The words like ken(know), ye (you) and no'(not) are driving me nuts. It is slowing down my reading and breaking conversations that should flow when reading them. Im finding myself stopping to re-read 80% of the conversations between characters. Yes this author is talented for thinking of a new atmosphere and world for her characters that includes this dialogue but I(who reads several books a week) am struggling to continue as I am just getting more and more frustrated with it! And now to see theres 5 more books of it?! I think I'll be giving up on this series thanks.
