Hard to Kill Review
We all know Seagal can't act but he sure kicks some ass. Anyway on to the movie. After Seagal aka Mason Storm (oh boy what a name) records a secret kill hiring, the bad guys invade his house, kill his wife and him. Or so they thought. For he ends in a coma and his friend O'Malley fakes his death. 7 years later Storm wakes up and naturally there is a horny nurse by his side that likes to observe"little Seagal". They team up and the action starts. Those bad guys are gonna get it but first Storm needs to beef up and shave off the beard.
Storm's getting into form is one of the best things in action movies ever made. Forget Rocky Balboa. From wood bashing to smoking needles, Storm does it all. Yep, he's one hell of a guy but his new lover nurse Andy sucks. And damn! She really doesn't have any taste in clothing. THE HAT!!! Ok Storm is now fit and ready to beat up the bad guys. I have to note how these bad guys are great. Besides from unnecessary profanity yelling at Storm when they are trying to kill him and making stupid faces they also posses a passion for destroying anything that's near them. Doesn't make any sense but great to see. Storm also does it sometimes. He can't just beat up a guy. He has to break 5 store windows or an entire china take-out in the process. Awesome.
Storm tempts the bad guys two times in this movie. First at the beginning in a small store. He has a gun and admits it's not fair towards a guy with a knife. So he throws it, gets on his knees and asks to be stabbed. Naturally the moron falls for Storm's little masochistic attempt at humor and ends up screwed. And later on Storm tempts with "Someone hand me a cue" beside the pool table. Great stuff. This time he also states it's not fair having a gun.
More on O'Malley. This guy is truly terrible in the acting field. It amazes me he actually out shined Seagal here. Nevertheless he makes me laugh and thus I like him. Who would guess he's going to die. Very predictable and cheesy. Cool. Storm's overall lines are totally awesome and you can witness it in the sounds section. They are really good. In fact brilliant.
Forgot to mention Storm has a son who survived. Very emotional stuff. Well if you have digestive problems off course. Lousy character but not as irritating as Andy at times. Her screaming when the bad guys are shooting all around is a brain twister. Damn it woman see a doctor. Interesting that Seagal married the actress later. Must have been impressed by her acting. Nothing to do with the movie I just wanted to show my vast Seagal knowledge.
This movie will not disappoint you. And it is a rare opportunity to see Seagal getting shot not to mention him being hospitalized. Awesome. A classic action flick with my favorite pie eater Steven "fatso" Seagal. Although he isn't so fat here.
